Always Time for a Cuddle

Hello blog friends, and happy March!  On the first day of the month, a new challenge starts in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group.  That's today!  The theme this month is "for a child".  There are lots of great All Dressed Up images that will fit this theme.  Create with one anyway you want, and join the challenge!

For this month's "for a child" challenge, I used the darling image, 'Always Time for a Cuddle':

I used Copic markers and Olo markers to color up this image.  Then I used wide oval dies from Spellbinders to cut out the image and back it.  I stenciled the paw prints on the backing oval.  The Love sentiment is a die from Kat Scrappiness.  I did a little paper piecing on it,  And, that's my simple 'For a Child' card.

I hope to see you entered in the challenge!

Love Heart -- An All Dressed Up Stamps new release

Hello, and thanks for visiting my blog!  Today, the All Dressed Up Stamps design team member are showcasing this month's New Releases.  There are 3 of them.  They are all found in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop

I had the delightful experience of being able to design with new release image, Love Heart:

Isn't she a super sweet image?  I colored Love Heart with a combination of Copic and Olo markers. This is a mini slim sized card.  The pink hearts paper is from AMB Illustrations.  I used a set of mini slim dies from Trinity Stamps to frame the Love Heart image and add the hearts paper layer.  The small stitched hearts are part of a die set from Close To My Heart. The sentiment is from my stash.

Thanks for the visit!  Stop by the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group and the ADU Blog for more inspiration and challenges to enter!

Paws Down -- All Dressed Up Stamps

Hello, and happy February!  It's been brutally cold for parts of January, so February makes me feel like we're closer to spring.

February 1st, that also means a new challenge is starting in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group. The theme this month is Cuteness Overload, and the challenge runs the month of February.  You even get an extra day this month!

When searching for an image to color up for this challenge, I remembered Winter Pups.  I took one of the 3 images in the Winter Pups set, colored him up with Copic markers, and created this:

After coloring up the Winter Pup, I fussy cut him.  Looking through my heart shaped cutting dies, I found several that I thought I could combine to make a heart-shaped card.  The heart dies are from Spellbinders.

I hope you can join this month's Facebook challenge.  There are many, many images in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop that will work wonderfully for the challenge.  I'll be looking for your cute entries!

Star Pup -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

It's almost Christmas!  I hope you are almost ready.  Merry Christmas to you and yours.

It's the 22nd of the month, which means it's time for the All Dressed Up Stamps design team to feature this month's new releases. There are 3.  I had the great privilege of creating with Star Pup.  As always, this image is paw-sitively adorable!

Here's Star Pup, celebrating a birthday:

Star Pup is saying, "Let's Paw-ty", although it's terribly hard to read. I colored  Star Pup with Copic markers.  I used dies from Hero Arts to cut out the stats and the stitched circle. The papers are from Newton's Nook.

You'll find two challenges each month at All Dressed Up Stamps.  There is one in the ADU Facebook Group and one on the challenge  blog.  We are taking the month of January off to give the team a break.

Thanks for visiting my blog during this busy time. Enjoy the holidays!

My Little Elf -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

Dec. 1--How did we get here so fast!  I'm NOT ready for this busy Christmas season!

Dec 1 -- it's time for a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group.  The challenge is the whole month of December.  Our theme this month is Layer It.

I used a fairly new release on my project, My Little Elf, found in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop. Here's my creation for the challenge:

I colored My Little Elf with Copic markers. I tried for some not-so-traditional Christmas colors.

Here's how I layered up the card to fit the challenge criteria:  I cut My Little Elf out using a stitched arch die by Pink & Main.  I layered this unto another (bright green) arch layer.  These are both layered unto a piece of burgundy snowflake designer paper.  This was all glued unto a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inch top folding card base. To add another layer, and a holiday embellishment, I added a candy cane die cut by Hero Arts. It is a 2-layer die.  The sentiment was 2 parts.  Both words are layered up 3 times and glued together to add some dimension.

I hope you like My Little Elf.  Color up your own All Dressed Up Stamps image. Add some layers and enter the challenge.  I'd love to see what you create!

Snowman Hugs -- A NR at All Dressed Up Stamps

Hello, and thanks for stopping by my blog!  Today, I'm sharing a project using one of the new releases at All Dressed Up Stamps.  There are 3 new ones each month.  They, and all the others, are in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.

My card today uses the darling Snowman Hugs image.  Maybe it's because I live in Wisconsin where snow is plentiful, But I love to color snow and snow shadows break out the blue violets!).  This Snowman Hugs digital stamp was so fun for me!

I colored Snowman Hugs with comic markers.  I used a die set called Christmas Cloche to simulate a snow globe for my image.  The dies are from Concord & Ninth.  The snowflake dies are by Lawn Fawn.  The silver and white glitter papers are from my stash.

I hope you enjoy Snowman Hugs, and I hope you check out the rest of the ADU design team creations. You will find them in the ADU FB group and on the blog.  There's still time to enter the November FB challenge.  The theme is Gems, Sparkle, and/or Shine.

Bushy Tail -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

Welcome to November, and welcome to my blog!  Since it's a new month, there is a new challenge beginning today in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group. The theme this month is Gems, Sparkle, and Shine.

November is the month of thankfulness for me.  I don't like to skip right over the Thanksgiving holiday.  With that in mind, I created this card for the challenge using Bushy Tail:

I colored Bushy Tail with Copic markers and Olo markers. I fussy cut it and mounted it on a piece of woodgrain cardstock from Crafter's Companion.  The paper with tress and a forest scene on it is from Brutus Monroe.

It is hard to see in this photo, but there are orange gems all over the Bushy Tail.  They, and the clear gems, are from Taylored Epressions. The sentiment was embossed with white embossing powder.  The sentiment is from a Pink & Main stamp set.

I hope you can join us this month for the All Dressed Up Facebook group challenge.  The theme of Gems, Sparkle, and Shine is a fun one!
