Miss You -- for Crafty Sentiments Designs

It's Tuesday, and that means there's a new challenge happening at the Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog.  Every Tuesday, a new challenge.  This week's theme is 'Spring'. Ah, how I wish it was!  It is still a long way off here in Northern Wisconsin, but one can hope!

Here's my card for the springtime challenge:

I love this Crafty Sentiments Designs stamp!  It is a rubber stamp called Lilly Fairy

I stamped Lilly Fairy on Xpress it Blending Card, then colored it with Copic markers.

The sentiments is a clear stamp from Altenew.  The dies on the card are from Spellbinders (card base), Lifestyle Crafts (circle dies), and Hot Off the Press (label die).  Papers are from Carina Gardner - Flowers - found in the Snap Click Supply Store.  They are digital.  The crinkle ribbon and lace are from 3 Girl JAM.

I really hope you are inspired to join the 'Spring' challenge this week at Crafty Sentiments Designs.  I would really love to see your springtime creations!

I Love, Love, Love You -- for Path of Positivity

It's time for some mid-month inspiration over on the Path of Positivity Challenge blog, and we have a new sponsor that was so fun to work with!  For this challenge, I used an image from Mari Digis.  The Path of Positivity challenge theme this month is: An Expression of Love.  It is optional.  Link up any inspirational project you'd like.

This digi is called Casal Kiss.  I used this as my husband's Valentine's Day card.  He wondered if we ever looked that young? We are both bald now (me from chemo, he from aging), so we certainly have changed!

I colored Casal Kiss with Copic markers, then used dies from Top Dog dies to complete the card.  The sentiment is from Spellbinders.  The bow, not used on an earlier project, was sitting on my desk.

I hope you join us at the Path of Positivity Challenge blog this month -- there's still time as our challenge runs until March 5.  Use the optional An Expression of Love theme to be eligible for the prizes from this month's sponsors.

Wishing You a Lovely Day -- an MHKDesigns New Release

Hello, my crafty friends!  It's time for another new release at MHKDesigns.  This one is great for those feminine projects we all like so well!

Here's Pretty as a Pitcher digital stamp set:

This Pretty as a Pitcher set is really beautiful, with a number of elegant pitchers and gorgeous sentiments.  I shaded one of them with Faber-Castell Polycolor pencils, then fussy cut it, placing it in the center of my shaped card.   The floral die cut edger and the butter paper, also from MHKDesigns, are the Easter Flowers digital papers.

Your Toadally Awesome -- for Imagine That! Digistamp

Hello, crafty friends, and happy Saturday!  It's time for a bit of mid-month inspiration in the Imagine That! Creative Playground.  The challenge goes all month, closing March 3.

Challenges are 'Anything Goes'.  If you use a Imagine That! Digistamp product, you can win Frogs in Love for yourself, and it's adorable!  Here's what I created with it:

I used one of the pre-printed images that come with the Frogs in Love digital stamp set (there are 2).  I inked around the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink.  Then, I used a die set from Top Dog dies to create the heart-shaped card.  The sentiment is also from the Frogs in Love set.  The glitter hearts paper is from the Imagine That! Digistamp Beary in Love paper pack

Those frogs make beautiful music together, don't they?  I think they are toad-ally awesome!

Imagine That! Digistamp sets used:

I hope you can join us this month in the Creative Playground and win this set for yourself.  Just use an Imagine That! Digistamp image, and Frogs in Love is yours.  Toadally awesome, for sure!

Strong Women Lift Each Other -- an MHKDesigns New Release

It's the middle of February, Valentine's Day has come and gone, and there's another New Release today at MHKDesigns.  Today's new release is called Lovely Ladies. There are 3 equally Lovely Ladies in the digital set, and 4 great sentiments.

I adore shaped cards, and make them often.  Here's a shape I haven't made before, but I thought it framed this Lovely Lady well:

She didn't seem to need any coloring to me at all.  I printed her on colored card stock, then cut her out with an oval die.  Papers for this card are from MHKDesigns Damsel in Distress digital paper pack.  The sentiment is part of the Lovely Ladies set

I cut the card design out on my Silhouette Cameo with a design I found in the Silhouette Design Store. The ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

Each Day is a Blessing from God -- an MHKDesign New Release

Hello, and happy Friday!  Today is the day after chemo treatment #5.  I rarely feel good this day, so I scheduled this a couple days ago.  I usually lay pretty low the first few days after a treatment.  But, I have to get through this one and one more.  I can DO this!

Today is another New Release at MHKDesigns.  Easter isn't too far off --  never too early to start those projects!  Today's new release is perfect for Easter and Spring.  It's called, appropriately, Hoppy Easter

I colored the Hoppy Easter digital stamp set with Faber-Castell Polycolor pencils.  The sentiment, (and there are some great ones!) is part of the set.  The papers that I used to make this round card are from the Easter Flowers digital paper set.

Here's another view:

I used circle dies from Craftin' Desert Divas and Lifestyle Crafts to make this card.  The label die is from Hot Off the Press.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

Whooo Loves You? for Imagine That! Digistamp

It's Thursday, and it's time for some inspiration on the Imagine That! Digistamp blog.  It's also my 5th chemotherapy treatment day (out of 6 -- getting close!).  There have been some adorable Valentine's Day sets released recently in the Imagine That! Digistamp store.  You can find them here. I used one of the new sets, and one of the new digi paper packs to create a treat bag to fill with some chocolates to take to the chemo nurses today:

This delightful treat bag, cut out on my Silhouette Cameo, uses the Owl Always Love You digital stamp set.   This is the pre-colored male owl from the set.  The fun hearts paper behind him is from the Tweet on You digital paper set.

I've been trying to use my Cricut Explore more.  I've figured out how to upload JPEG's and PNG's into the machine, then use the print and cut feature.  I did that to cut out the owl and branch he's sitting on.

Imagine That! Digistamp products used:

Check out the rest of the great inspiration on the Imagine That! Digistamp blog today.  Don't forget about the monthly challenge going on.  If you use an Imagine That! Digistamp image, you can win an awesome frog image!  It's perfect for Valentine's Day, weddings, sweethearts, spring, etc. There's also an awesome Imagine That! Digistamp Facebook group to check out.  There, you'll find freebies, more inspiration, notices of sales, and some great friendships!

Live Out Loud! for Crafty Sentiments Designs

It's Tuesday!  That means it's time for a new challenge on the Crafty Sentiments Challenge blog.  It's also New Release week at Crafty Sentiments Designs.  You'll find the New Releases rubber stamps in the store on Saturday, Feb. 11.  You'll see all the new releases on the Crafty Sentiments Inspirations blog today through Friday.

This week's challenge is Anything Goes.  The entire team is working with today's New Release, Josh - The Sound.

I stamped the rubber stamp, Josh - the Sound onto Copic blending card, then used Copic markers to color it.   The sentiment is computer generated and just seemed to fit the image.

I cut the easel card out on my Silhouette Cameo.  I found the awesome music paper at Pixel Scrapper.  It is digital.   The music notes are from a Spellbinders Die set. The other dies used on the card are also from Spellbinders.

I hope you enjoyed this new release and will visit the Crafty Sentiments Inspirations blog this week to see the other wonderful ones, then I hope you'll join this weeks' Anything Goes challenge at Crafty Sentiments Designs

I Wuff You -- for Path of Positivity

It's the first Monday of the month, and it's time for a new challenge at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. This month's optional theme is "An Expression of Love". The challenge runs until March 5th.  Link up any inspirational piece!

One of our guest sponsors this month is Imagine That! Digistamp.  I used the Puppy Love digital stamp set to follow this month's Expression of Love theme and created this:

I used a preprinted image from the Imagine That! Digistamp's Puppy Love set, and used my Cricut Explore to cut it out.  The card base, with the paw print border, was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo.  The Heart paper is also from Imagine That! Digistamp.  The sentiment comes with the Puppy Love digital stamp set.

Every pet owner needs a Valentine's Day card from their pet.  My husband will get this one from our Golden Retriever, Sophie.  She loves him almost as much as she loves her peanut butter treats!  It is truly an expression of love.

I hope you join in the Expression of Love challenge this month at The Path of Positivity.  We have great sponsors and prizes, it's a super easy theme to follow with this month having Valentine's Day in it, and I'd love to see what you make!

Our Greatest Glory... for MHKDesigns New Release

"Our Greatest Glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."  Isn't that quote by Confucius the best?   I find such power and hope in it!

It's also one of the sentiments included in today's New Release at MHKDesigns, found in the Etsy Shop.  The New Release is "The Glory of the Lord".

I created this tag/bookmark, thinking it would be great inspiration for someone with  cancer, or another terminal disease.  It would work very well tucked in a Bible or Devotional book.

I colored the morning glories from The Glory of the Lord with  Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.  The design papers, including the one the sentiment/quote is printed on, are an MHKDesigns digital paper set called Easter Flowers.

Dies used to create this tag are from Hot Off the Press and Craftin' Desert Divas.  Really Reasonable Ribbon and Timeless Twine finish it off.

Check out the MHKDesigns blog for more inspiration and to find out how you can win this set, and the other MHKDesigners blogs to see their incredible takes on this new release.  There's also a great Facebook group, MHKDesigners & Friends that you don't want to miss!

There'll be new releases all month -- the 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th, so keeping checking back, and don't forget to enter the MHKDesigns monthly challenge.  It's anything goes, if you use an MHKDesigns image.  This would be a great one to use!

Friendship Warms the Heart -- for the 12 Months of Christmas

February 1st!  Time for another challenge on the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.  The challenge will run all month.  The optional theme this month is Holiday Humor.  To be eligible for the awesome prize, we'd like to see a humorous sentiment, a funny image, or an element that elicits a smile.

Our guest sponsor this month is Scribbles Designs.  I used the Snow Kisses image to create this:

That image will make you smile for sure, and I think the sentiment fits it very well!  I love those 2 winter characters together.  I am sending this card out this morning, using it as a thank you card.  An elderly couple I know have been so supportive of me during my chemo journey.  I think they'll smile when this lands in their mailbox in a few days.

I colored the Scribbles Designs Snow Kisses image with Faber-Castell Polychromos color pencils. I am a big fan of color pencils on Kraft!  The very fun background papers are from our other sponsor, Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  Lisa created this Cartoony Christmas set for this challenge, and they are fantabulous!

I used cutting dies by Spellbinders (Card Creator Basics, and Cheery Lynn - snowflakes).  The sentiment is a retired stamp set from Close To My Heart.

 Our sponsors this month:

Link up any Christmas card you make this month!  If it fits the cartoony Christmas theme, you're eligible for the guest sponsor prize.  Have fun, and good luck!

Flowers Bloom -- for MHKDesigns

Happy Tuesday, crafty friends!  Happy February!  Days are getting longer, birds are singing a bit more, so there really are some signs of spring in the meds of winter!

Today, there's a new challenge starting on the MHKDesigns blog.  Challenges now start on the first of the month and run all month. They are Anything Goes, if you use an MHKDesigns image, and there's an inspiration board to follow if you want.

As many of you know, I have Lymphoma and am undergoing chemo treatments.  I found great inspiration in the card I made for this month's challenge.  This quote brought me great comfort....

This card uses MHKDesigns, Open Bloom for both the flower and the sentiment.  The flower is colored with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils on Kraft.  The gorgeous designer paper, also from MHKDesigns,  is from the Get Well Flowers digital paper pack.

I cut the card shape out on my Silhouette Cameo, using a cutting file from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  The stitched oval cutting dies are from Die-namics.  The 3D flower is from my stash.

Inspiration Board for February Challenge

I hope you can join us this month at MHKDesigns!  I'd love to see what you make, and the prizes are wonderful!  Come link up!
